An incredible one of a kind masterpiece for the wrist is this Girard-Perregaux La Esmeralda Tourbillon. The three bridges, symmetrical layout, and superbly hand-decorated parts will impress you. Under three solid gold transversal bridges is a vertically arranged movement where the barrel is on top, the concentric micro-rotor below it, followed by the one-minute tourbillon in an elegant cage. The hand-decorated double arrow-shaped bridges have their surface mirror polished, edges hand-beveled, and sides straight-grained. As if the face isn’t imposing enough, the pink gold case, bezel, lugs, and bracelet come embellished with diamonds. The watch is powered by the 27 jewel caliber GP09400 manufactured and developed in-house, with 60 hours of power reserve.
